While shopping at Walmart, I received a call from JC.
It was in reference to my "No" response to the RS that I sent through the company's website yesterday. We spoke for about 11 minutes. It is my impression from the conversation that JC will be busy today calling other "No" voting shareholders. Politics as usually. Yes, a third party advised JC and CB that the RS was the best course of action to move to a "new environment." I stated "American Exchange" and JC indicated, "yes, a new environment." He continued indicating that this was on the table for sometime. He continued saying they (AMEP) want the multiples and this would best obtained in the new environment not the OTCBB. From the conversation, money is still an issue for the present and the future (future buying opportunities). He stated they want to have money reserves when and if buying opportunities present themselves. We did not discuss preferred stocks nor did I have the opportunity to explore the logic in announcing the RS and then the positive PR.
