Anvil Studios, Recently Acquired by Janex International, Acquires Book Rights,
Jumpstarts Phoenix Film Production

PHOENIX, Oct. 24 /PRNewswire/ -- Anvil Studios, Inc.
(www.anvilstudios.com) -- a leading production studio for theatrical,
television and "convergence" content -- announced today the acquisition of
book rights for two major titles by best-selling author Gordon Thomas, "Desire
and Denial" and "Mindfield".
As part of the transaction, Anvil Publishing (launching with this
publishing) is immediately co-publishing another Thomas title, "Seeds of Fire:
China and the Story Behind the Attack on America", with local publisher
Dandelion Books. The printing for this title has begun and distribution is
slated for the first two weeks of November.
"`Seeds' is a very compelling book for us to begin this relationship
with," explains Robert Dotson, President of Anvil. "Gordon is one of the
world's leading intelligence and terrorism experts and knows his subject
intimately -- he proves that in this book. This is up to the minute, timely
and extremely important information. There is controversy in this book but,
America needs to know there is more stacked against us right now -- today,
than just Afghanistan and bin Laden. As unimaginable and reprehensible as the
damnable attack by bin Laden and his miserable followers was, there is more.

Dotson stated that the securing of these book rights and the publishing
activities were the first installment of a much larger relationship which
includes screenplays, film rights and production of more than eleven films
over the next four years, all under the auspices of Anvil Studios or in co-
production relationships with European studios. Among these films is
"Tiananmen" which is adapted from the "Seeds of Fire" book.
Other films included in the overall relationship are "Desire and Denial",
"Mindfield", "Mambo", "Issels", "The Jesus Conspiracy", "Enslaved", and
6 films from the international bestseller, "Gideon's Spies". Gordon Thomas,
several in conjunction with acclaimed Director/Writer Kevan Barker, authored
the screenplays.
Many of the productions are tagged to be filmed in Arizona. Most of the
pre- and post-production and for all of the titles will also be done in
Phoenix.
Anvil and Dandelion are planning to co-host Gordon Thomas (who resides in
Ireland) in Phoenix, and other cities in the U.S., the first week of November.
Mr. Thomas will be doing television interviews relative to terrorism and
intelligence, as well as signings and promotion of the new book.

great things to come from this is the relationship with Dandelion. Carol Adler
is first rate. We certainly intend to co-publish the next two titles with her

Anvil Studios, now becoming Anvil Media following a majority acquisition
by Janex International (OTC Bulletin Board: JANX) in September, is focused on
family entertainment. The company has stated that "family" is more than
children's programming and animation, it means everything in information,
media, or entertainment that is important to today's family.

Kids Club", a fun and educational television series based on Joy Berry's award
winning children's living skills books; and an episodic "reality based"
television property, under tight wraps, targeted at teens.
Dandelion Books (www.dandelionbooks.com) is locally operated (in Tempe,
AZ) by Ms. Carol Adler, who has been a force in modernizing distribution and
retailing in the publishing industry. Dandelion carries many of Gordon Thomas'
38 books and is considered a key partner by Anvil Media.
Gordon Thomas (www.gordonthomas.ie) with twenty-five years of intelligence
writing behind him has authored more than 38 books, multiple screenplays,
produced numerous films, and (having lived among and with several intelligence
individuals/organizations) is recognized internationally as an expert in
