Ok newbie question...

I have always been interested in the forex market. I currently invest in penny stocks... How long does it usually take to learn a forex trading system and is there someone on this board (after I open a account to trade forex) that you can ride there coat tale through the good and bad or does that not happen???? As always thanks for the response.....
