Real Estate in Houston & somewhat in Dallas is still going nutz to the tune of 6,000 acre subdivisions going up at once with 350,000 - 600,000 dollar homes. Frigg'in nutx. I have not seen anything like this since the 1980's and the tail end of the boom here. I was 18 and delivering pizza for $500 a week in 1984 and still in high school. Now I can't even get an interview with a prospective employee for under $30,000 for an entry level plus benifits. My dept is operating with 50% staff...

Before you Northern people complain... the cost of living here is dirt cheap. I can get a 1,500 sq ft apt for 1,000 - 1,200 bucks a month in a good neighborhood.

“I got a great deal on some French WW2 army surplus guns. Never used and only dropped once...”
