I'd be happy for you guys also, and still will be if it shot up while I was at work and you guys made out like bandits!
I'm really mad at myself at the moment though...
My friend is getting me into options which to tell you the truth I have a lot to learn, any ways I was going to try it today with one contract for 100 shares on a put option and the Level II said the highest bid was $2.30 a share which being you have to buy a contract its 100 shares and the Ask was at 2.40 a share so I figured I'd put a limit order in for $2.35 a share which of course would of been $235 plus the commission which I figured start small till I figure this option stuff out all of the way...
Well....
I missed it and can't watch as I'm at work while the markets open
so I couldn't adjust my entry price..
Well, It opened at $2.55 a share hit a high of $3.30 and closed at $3.10 And the chart of the index its going against looks like its going to continue to go down as the macd is close to crossing over for a sell signal which means this put option should continue to go up and I MISSED IT!!!
And I don't chase:(
