HOUSTON (June 7, 2007) - American Security Resources Corporation (OTCBB: ARSC) went up 9 percent today after the company announced that it's CEO, Frank Neukomm, would be appearing in a "series of interviews" on a number of online financial news Web sites this afternoon.

While Neukomm was not available at press time for an interview because of this busy schedule, Bob Farr, the president of American Security Resources, did take some time to discuss what the company and some of its holdings have been doing lately. For starters, the recent announcement that the company was taking fuel cell orders ignited interest in many industrial entities, although Farr said he couldn't release any specifics about these entities at this time.

"We're out beating the bushes looking for orders," Farr told Market News First. "We've got about half a dozen discussions going on, we've got significant interests, [and there are] a couple of major prospects that are looking to put an evaluation system in place that could result in a significant amount of orders."

"Things are moving on very well," Farr added.

One of the latest innovations the company is working with is a technology called Ammonia Catalytic Electrolysis (ACE), a revolutionary way of pulling nitrogen and hydrogen from ammonia.

"We take the ammonia, pass it through a processer and generate nitrogen and hydrogen," Farr said. "We're developing systems for it right now - we've been doing some lab experiments, but we're ready to start developing the equipment."

Farr said that this process of generating hydrogen was far more cost-efficient than more traditional methods of hydrogen generation. This makes it easier for one of the company's holdings -- Hydra Fuel Cell Corp. - to produce the hydrogen fuel cells that form the backbone of its business.

"This piece of equipment will make it more economical, and [will make hydrogen generation cost] substantially less than the grid power cost," Farr said. "You could generate power at a very economical rate."

In general, Farr said that American Security Resources was doing very well.
