An email I sent earlier to a friend I have who owns a Natural Gas and Energy Derivatives Brokerage in Chicago...I'll let you know what he thinks when he replies.

"Hi Mike. It's good to hear from you. I will definitely look over this stuff throughout the day. I appreciate you getting me involved in what you're doing because I really love this business and love talking about it. I will look over Spooz- you know how they got that name? Spooz is a trading nickname for the S&P 500 index, so Im assuming this is a stock index futures trading platform, which is the market I know the best. I will take my time and look it over. As far as where they are advertising, those magazines are household names in the futures industry. Every prop firm in Chicago and NY has subscriptions to them, they are the leading futures mags. They are advertising to the right demographic, Im sure of that. Problem with these software apps is that in the last three years, dozens of them have been developed with the same usability, flooding the marketplace with supply. That being said, futures trading on electronic platforms has more participants than ever before so there is plenty of potential. I like the idea. Anyways, Im writing alot. Thanks for writing to me...I will write back soon. later man....

Hi Eric,

[Blah, blah, blah, personal stuff...]

Anyway, I would like for you to look at a Software package for professional traders like you called Spooz (www.spooz.com). I am invested in their company (it’s one of my pinks), and they claim to have a serious product but it’s beyond my expertise. I bought based solely on technicals but if there is some fundamental value to what they are doing I might hold longer than just a 5 or 10 bagger. They have placed advertisements in Futures Magazine, Technical Analysis of Stocks and Commodities, Stocks Futures and Options (SFO) and Active Trader. I would also love to know your opinion of those magazines and their would-be impact being in the industry.

I know that you are exceptionally busy, so any insights you could provide would be awesome.

[Blah, blah, blah, personal stuff]

Thanks,

Mike
