OT: lol - About 2 Brazilian reals for 1 dollar. The good thing is that on top of that food costs half as much, and you don't have to tip. So a typical full lunch will cost me $2 to $4. Monitors, computers, and other high-value electronics are 2 to 4 times more expensive in Brazil. So I smuggled a monitor here. 19" LG Wide 2ms 3000:1. Cost was $220 for me at Bestbuy, worth about R$1000 (or $500) here. I'm probably coming back to the states this month to pick up an HP laptop for a friend. Here it is R$8000 (or $4000) but in the states about $1500. Cars are ridiculously expensive here. My Porsche 911/996 cabriolet is now 7 years old (2000), and would make me some kind of God if I had it here. It's value is well over R$400,000 here. Before you think of setting up an export business, it's nearly all tax and the people very poor...
