Response to e-mail sent yesterday:
Dear Mr. Schneider: Thank you for your interest and suggestions.
Actually we have been examining anthrax, both dermal and pulmonary, for
some time. We wrote a proposal to several government agencies, but they
showed no interest. We will take up pursuit of anthrax after getting
some preliminary data on aerosol delivery of our plasmid DNA. Best
wishes, Malcolm Skolnick

Subject: Press Release of 12/29/03
Sirs:
Congratulations on your announcement today re. your latest patent
application.
I am continually impressed with the skill and professionalism of your
business and scientific conduct.
Today's press release got me thinking of how advantageous it would be if
you
could develop an anti-sense aerosol specific to anthrax ( and other
pathogens for that matter), that could be carried by our military and
other
possible targets, that could be inhaled immediately after a suspected
exposure. Your work in this area could potentially save many lives.
Sincerely,
John E Schndeider RN
