Linux - blah. I am not convinced yet. I was asking good old Eric Charters about getting that to work with the major trading sites (webbroker) and he provided enough (yeah I figured as much) negative - I still don't see it being anything more than it is unless they get the Javascript/ActiveX issues resolved.

I would have a PC as a Linux box if I was convinced my electronic banking/trading could function 100%. My plan was to flip my file server into a Linux fileserver - but the down shoot - it cannot be used for anything else. At least as a fileserver and "terminal" I could use it to browse the net (less crash prone versus windows). But no. So the next plan is to keep XP as a fileserver/regular PC. And continue to wait for Linux..

Mac - yeah I was thinking a wireless network - a Mac notebook accessing it. Things have certainly improved between Apple and Microsoft in this arena.

Roni - has Apple made any sounds toward graphic tablets? That is the next thing for me (a Mac notebook for the portability, but the tablet is what I really want).
