BEA Selects Venetica for Portal Star Solution Initiative To Provide Access to Multiple Content Management Systems

BEA Customers Gain Real-Time Access to Content Anywhere it Resides

CHARLOTTE, N.C.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 22, 2001-- Venetica, the leading provider of content integration solutions, today announced that it has been selected by BEA to participate in the BEA Portal Star Solution, a partner initiative from BEA Systems, Inc. (Nasdaq: BEAS - news).

The BEA Portal Star Solution provides a designation for partners that offer complementary products or services that are tightly integrated with BEA WebLogic Portal(TM). Venetica's flagship product VeniceBridge(TM) will enable BEA WebLogic customers to access, share and collaborate on vast stores of content that exist in various disparate repositories throughout an organization, including Documentum, Eastman, FileNET, VisualInfo, Lotus Notes, Open Text, and others.
