BEA Selects Compoze Software To Provide Collaboration Portlets For BEA WebLogic Portal 4.0

PHILADELPHIA, PA--(INTERNET WIRE)--Oct 22, 2001-- Compoze Software today announced that BEA Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ: BEAS - news), one of the world's leading e-business infrastructure software companies, has selected Compoze's Harmony Portlet Suite 3.0 for customers of BEA WebLogic Portal(TM) 4.0.

Compoze was selected based on the breadth and extensibility of its' product. The Harmony Portlets enable users to plug-in collaborative features "out-of-the-box" including webmail, calendar, to-do, contacts and discussion and also offer direct integration to Microsoft Exchange and Lotus Domino. The raw power behind the portlets is the Harmony Component Suite. By upgrading to the Harmony Component Suite, BEA WebLogic Portal customers are able to easily and quickly build entirely new applications and portlets to expand their collaborative application requirements.
