Nice article...

FWIW I just bought a PC. I think for at least a month I can talk sensibly about what computer to buy (jeez need a degree seriously - about as hard to understand and figure out as a Rogers bill).

What are the biggest wastes of time?
#3 - Spec'ing and buying a PC
#2 - Using a PC
#1 - Using a PC to access the internet (any mode)

Speaking of AAPL. Yeah that iPOD is to die for. When I bought my car CD player it had to come with an front input for external devices (namely the iPOD). But alas too many other things to buy (ahem, like stocks)...

My PC is nice but for $2000CDN (incl tax) it came with no monitor; no harddrives; no CD(CDR/RW/DVD); no mouse/keyboard/floppy. Once I get it up and running I will provide a picture of the aluminum case in its full glory.

At Sams Club I am seeing machines for $1000 including LCD panels but the specs are all old and restrictive. Memory if I am lucky would be 512MB all featuring XP Home.

Anyahoo.. Gateway is something to think about.. thanks!
