I did this in honor of you Research247 and your family! :) The true-ness of your postings has come through. Mine, like many families have health issues later in life. I have learned something from you. Thank You. I like your last post I pasted the best! :):):) That is exactly what i'm hoping for with my family! God bless!!

"daddybofree, apology accepted. Friendly fire of the kind that didn't end up harming anyone. I am not going to be able to monitor the board or post as much due to somehow having to keep up with the heavy work schedule and help my elderly mother take care of my elderly father that was just diagnosed two days ago with an inoperable common bile duct malignancy (numerous cardiac complicating factors precluding the needed surgical Whipple Procedure). They live 500 plus miles from our family and it's going to be a tough situation to deal with. Life changes dramatically fast. I'll poke my head in here periodically to see what's going on and try to help correct gross misinformation if nobody corrects it first. I was a lurker on these boards for many years and only started posting in order to correct gross misinformation being posted. You all take care and I'll also continue to wait for the fireworks too."

JMHO, DYODD, and good luck to all.

"Back for a minute. My father had his first dose of chemotherapy last week and had a port put in yesterday for ease of chemotherapy dosing. I am not a happy camper with respect to family health problems but I accept what is in the Lord's plan. We have to remain positive in life. The long distance to help them is grueling. My mother has critical bouts of asthma and can always use my help with Dad."

"Back to supremely more important things (family and health) now. All have a good night."

"jbl4567, Good to hear from you. I am still trying to take care of the family including the biggest pull on me right now as being my father in the crappy world of constant nausea and frequent vomiting from his chemotherapy. He's on four doses of anti-nausea medication and it doesn't do much at all. We are trying to force him to eat to keep him from starving himself, which seems to currently be his solution to keep from feeling like he wants to vomit on the sight of food. Ensure supplement is the only thing besides rarely eating buffalo wings that's keeping him from total starvation. He loved steak before the cancer. Ongoing challenges."

"I will keep praying for a positive outcome for mine."

"I am thankful he had time to, in his words, make things right with his relationship with God before he passed away."
