The volume has gotten me thinking that the number of shares outstanding may be quite a bit lower than what I was earlier suspecting. I figured worst case there would be 489 million (815 million * .60(16 million at a .034 pps)). If there were 489 million OS with the pps up double digits like it is, we would likely see 200 million trade. Allowing that at least some of today's volume are traders, either the float is relatively tiny, or we've just got some hard headed longs here who really know what this company is worth and refuse to be persuaded by a short term gain, or maybe both.
Anyone else with guestimates on the float size or how many redeemed for preferred? Obviously, the smaller the better IMO.
