Thanks for the abundance of wisdom on the deck. My other problem is that the deck is pretty rough (splinters and stuff) and we like to walk around barefoot (I'm a country boy from the South living in the bitter cold North). Is there anything that I can do about that?

What is the best way to pull up the boards with out messing them all up (since they used nails instead of screws)?
