Home Depot and Lowe's do have contractor entrances, but really, it's just the door to the lumber yard. And yes, contractors do business with these department stores, but when you are talking on scale, a large, big money contractor is not going to get supplies from Home Depot. The don't carry the stock for it. You can order lots of things at Home Depot and yeah framers and masons and all sorts of skilled laborers buy things at these type stores. But the money for a company like Sulja is in making deals with contrators who have a time frame and need to know they are going to have access to what they need, when they need it. It goes back to the building of relationships. While the associates at Home Depot are really helpful, they are not specialist who know what a contractor salesmen know about the market. There is a line of communication that can only be provided though a building supply store. Sulja has the resources.
