Here's the problem with TSXT and it's worse than Hayter. It's the clear tie in to Pharb and Who's Your Daddy which did an identical bait and switch cancelled reverse merger pump and dump a while back.

As shown by the article below, the person in charge of the advertising is Mark Demattei. He's apparently intimate with the CEO of TSXT.

Demattei is the person who orchestrated Pharb, the identical products under a different name, and a reverse merger with Who's Your Daddy that was pumped and then cancelled.

The article about the proposed merger, which of course was cancelled after the pump, is here:

Notice the similarities? These are the same players. That's why they apparently don't care about the dirty shell since it's just temporary. Kind of like a turtle finding a shell that doesn't fit, but it's just until it can find something else.

Small companies look to NASCAR to help them sell
By Don Coble| Morris News Service
Thursday, March 15, 20071 commentPRINTEMAIL HAMPTON, Ga. - Joey Clanton has a problem. He's scheduled to race in Friday night's Craftsman Truck Series race at Atlanta Motor Speedway and everyone he knows - and more - wants to go.

Jeremy Mayfield's sponsor, 360 OTC pain relievers, is one of many small companies that are counting on the popularity of NASCAR to sell their product by putting their brand on a car. Zaxby's also has joined the race, sponsoring driver Joey Clanton.
Click photo for optionsZaxby's is a new sponsor in NASCAR and it's eager to show its support to Clanton's race team. They've requested 160 tickets and credentials to the race, showing novice and unbridled support for racing.

NASCAR remains a powerful, yet expensive way, to deliver a sponsor's message. For most, it's money well spent. For others, it's a way to quickly bankrupt an entire advertising and marketing program.

Zaxby's and 360 OTC, both based in Athens, Ga., are new to NASCAR, and both have wagered the bulk of their company's future in the sport. Zaxby's sponsors a truck driven by Clanton and Stacy Compton; Rockford-Montgomery Labs Inc. and its 360 OTC pain relievers sponsor Jeremy Mayfield in the Nextel Cup Series, along with Tyler Walker and Johnny Benson in the trucks series.

Both companies have seen what NASCAR has done for companies like Home Depot, Lowe's, UPS, FedEx, Nextel, DeWalt and Interstate Batteries - all have enjoyed significant business boosts.

They're looking for similar results.

"Look at all the companies that have invested millions of dollars in NASCAR," said Tony Townley, co-owner of Zaxby's. "There's some legitimacy there to sell their brand. We've already seen a small bump in sales after our race in Daytona. And we've noticed some other positives at our individual stores. There's a lot of chatter and enthusiasm for racing."

Clanton grew up racing dirt tracks around Georgia and Legends Series cars at Atlanta Motor Speedway. He had a short run as a Busch Series driver in 2003 with 18 starts and a career-best fifth-place finish. But he was an easy choice by Townley and co-owner Zack McElroy since he owns two franchises in the Atlanta area.

Clanton's first race with Zaxby's ended with a sixth-place finish at the season-opener at Daytona Beach, Fla.

"We believe NASCAR can take us to the next level," Townley said. "In the long run, this is to test the waters to see how this affects our growth and our brand attention."

At 360 OTC, the start hasn't been as fast. In fact, Mayfield has yet to make the starting lineup in any race this year. He is part of a new race team without any provisional exemptions into the lineups.

"The people at 360 OTC have been good to me," Mayfield said. "They've bent over backwards for us. I've never had a personal relationship with a sponsor like this. It's not like we're doing anything wrong. We just had some things work against us."

Mayfield will have about 50 executives and investors at Atlanta this week. The company also will have two trucks in Friday's race and a 178-foot airship flying over the racetrack.

"We're not 100 percent dependent on NASCAR," said Mark Demattei of Air Sea and Ground, the company that handles advertising for Rockford-Montgomery Labs. "It's about 50 percent of what we do. We're not worried about the start."

Zaxby's has 370 stores in the Southeast and plans to add another 75 this year. They hope their growth is matched by success of their No. 09 truck.
