I don't know which Scottrade you're using, but I'm able to trade "unlimited" shares. Also, trades cost $7 each. If a stock price is under $1 they add an additional 1/2% of the principal to the fee. The CHNW shares were converted to EFGO within the normal 3 days it takes when a CUSIP/Ticker change takes place. They've always responded either by email or phone when I've called them, and as far as I can tell, their news updates as soon as everyone elses that subscribes to the wire service. Also, they will pay up to $100.00 to you if you transfer an account to them to cover transfer fees from the old account. I'm moving an account there soon and have had a brokerage account there for years.
