Yes they sold because of the increased amount of AS when the split happens there will not be a further increase in the number of shares so the the split will not increase the AS and although it will increase the OS the selloff was in anticipation of an increased OS so the split will not cause an automatic decrease in value of shares. That's not to say that a bunch of idiots might not still sell after the split because they believe the nonsense of the no fact bashers
