Well ETrade must know that the DTC is trying to pass off the blame for the problems on the brokers. Most likely they look at the situation and say wait a minute, all this tak about suing the brokers may be getting generated at the DTC(if you followed the megasmails, it sure seems like it was the DTC passing the buck telling Megas to sue us, the that would allow us to sue our brokers).

Well, if I am ETrade and I am not NSS and had all the shares I bought for my clients clear through the DTC, before the DTC said they were no good, then I am going to do something about it.
