It was a rainy morning here in Austin and then a few hours later the clouds parted and the sun came through. Unfortunately that wasn’t the case for our stock Viva World Trade.

We now have confirmation that over 3 million shares have been shorted on the company. In a perfect world, this would never be allowed to happen, but unfortunately it is our reality. They single handedly sold the stock down to where it is today at $.28. They have completely manipulated the stock and have held it down so no retail investor could make money.

It is a shame that this it is possible to do this in today’s capital markets and it is a shame that the SEC doesn’t control it more and truly punish the criminals who actively destroy microcap companies. The fines are laughable compared to the amount of money they take from retail investors. A lot of people believe that it is just a fallacy, but as we have witnessed, it is a reality. For those of you who are unaware of what I am referring to, you can view some incredible footage from Bloomberg Television on shorting. This is a must see for everyone in our database. So what does this mean for VVWT’s stock?

The good news is that the shorts will have to cover their position at some point. There is no guarantee when this might happen, but you can rest assure that it will happen. No short can hold their position forever – especially when it is an illegal position.

We still hold our entire position and are sticking with the company as they execute their business plan.
