They could be attempting to firce the DTC's hand by doing an end around and trading on the greys. Remember, it was the DTC who cleared the shares in the first place when our brokers purchased them for us, then turned around and said they are no good. I think ETrade is saying that if you cleared them, then our shareholders own them, therefore let ther be trading.
