austonia: When I inadvertently transfered all of my tracks with Windows Media Player at once, I had the same alphabetical listing. I deleted all of them and then draged and dropped folders in Windows explorer to the player, did a reconcile, and now they are in the proper order. I haven't had a chance to play with it enough to see if there is another way.
edit: by the way, maybe because I used it for three years, I liked Music Match better than WMP. Maybe if I get used to it I'll change my mind, but for now I find it more difficult to use.
