I decided to install one of the color printers I have here that I never used. This is a Lexmark Z13. I thought I'd start simply.

It prints the "aligment" page but it won't print a test page or a regular page of any kind. I got the message first that I needed a new cartridge but I opened and reseated the cartridge and now I get the message the printer detects a cartridge change. Darned thing won't print. Using 10.2.8 on a Dual 1GhZX G4 desktop machine and a USB connection.

Any ideas? I've written to Lexmark support but if anyone has a quick solution that would be great.
