I don't think there's any way to reasonably predict the reaction. The motivation for the transaction depends upon who the investors are in the private placement and any preexisting relationships that might be out there. It is curious that a unit with significant opportunities is being spun-off. Maybe the split was mandated by the investors - they want Frank carrying the ball with the new company, I don't know.
