If he "needed" a strong board why would he not have already done it? As for the Board's responsibility, please, that's not how it works in a family buisiness.Are you trying to suggest they would be held financially responsible? Please explain. Id like to see you bring that that to Phil personally, or any of the board members. And yes, they still arte start up co. in they way they operate. The dollar amount of business they do is not the sole determiming factor on whether a co. is perceived as a start up co. Do you really think that Phil will fire the board members to improve his co. He likes being associated with them.I feel your frustration, and I share it. The only thing that will happen is aboard member will leave if he becomes disenchanted. Your idea is adressing a sympton, not the problem. The family is the key here, not the board.
