Do these graphs mean that the Tocqueville Gold Fund will close up today? (Bought some at 25.50 and it got as high as 38 before turning lower.)

Not necessarily, as one day's correlation (or lack of) doesn't always show up on the bottom line, but if I HAD to bet on it, my money would say that you'll see a positive number when they publish today's NAV.

One of Embry's bigger holdings (and mine as well), Chesapeake Gold (CKG.V) was up better than 4% on the day the last time I looked.

It's now up about 45% from early October and prolly will double from these levels during 2004 as their drilling results become public knowledge. These guys are the crew from Francisco and very few do it better than them. They've spent two years handpicking prime properties to explore/drill and with C$27 million in cash and a market cap of under C$80 million loonies, I see a terrific potential just waiting to be tapped and wouldn't hesitate to rec this to anyone who has a modicum of patience.
