I spoke with Tamara today. She was out of town last week. She was bewildered when I told her that we had determined that COFCO was the chinese wine company they were dealing with and that they were one of the largest in the world. She knew all about COFCO but was shocked that I was spending so much time researching her background. She asked if I was retired and had a lot of free time. I told her that someone else had found it and then explained the I-Hub message boards to her. She seemed to take note of it so don't be surprised if she makes an appearance.

The chemical company is not going to happen for two reasons. Bayseng is totally committed to finding organic solutions, so there is no way they would merge with a chemicals company. Secondly, she said that they work with companies like Harper Collins, Random House and Meredith Corporation. I took this to mean that the chemical company was small potatoes to her. So I doubt that Wes Whiting will have the answer for her either. Wes generally works with small but promising and developing companies.

Bayseng is still very much involved with Cofco. They have developed a wine partnership. She said that they have cultivated a great relationship with the company and that she has been to Beijing and Shanghai to meet with company officials. The joint venture is a go, but the thought of Cofco going public through the MNET shell hadn't crossed her mind.

She said that she is old fashioned so she was taken aback by the interest being shown over the internet. She's used to conducting business by forging a relationship face to face so my calling her to try to work with her on the MNET shell was odd to her. I told her we would help her in any way we could.
She joked "Can you get me $10 million dollars" (which by the way is equivalent to about $2.00 a share which might give us some insight on what she's shooting for). I told her that if Cofco merged with MNET her shares would be worth over $100,000,000. Hopefully with that in mind she might mull it over. It sounds like they have built a strong relationship with them.

Lastly, we could see an early sign of progress next week on pinksheets.

This is long-term hold here folks. I lamented that I didn't get enough shares of CSBR before it ran but I told myself that another one as good as that would come along. As far as I'm concerned, this is it.

The Attards are class acts.

Only the beginning.
