It is a bit complicated...
They are forming a new company, of which I have not yet seen a name.
The new company will be composed of both INTC and STM assets.
Both INTC and STM will retain some amount of ownership n the new company, I suspect in a similar arrangement to the way AMD owned spansion... however, there has been no announcement the new company will be brought public.

It is interesting that Intel has created another NAND competitor to their IM Flash JV with micron.
