My Report From SH Meeting:
I was in attendance at last weeks SH meeting and must say that I’m glad I attended. Without going into detail, this is what I took away from it:
1. Current management team is strong and getting stronger. Mr. Turrini is bringing in the right management to take this company to the next level.
2. The ASNAP technology DOES WORK! I was the person witnessing the calls being made. Calls were established on both cellular and wi-fi networks and I witnessed the switch from one network to the other and back. The calls remained connected during the switch over! I asked pertinent questions concerning call routing from one network to the other, session control, call detail records, etc. and got detailed answers on all. They do know what they are doing and this is not a scam!
3. The financials for the last 2-3 quarters were not done as disclosed in the meeting but the original finance team is working on them and should have them complete within the week.
4. I believe and trust Mr. Turrini when he says there are licensing deals in the pipeline and some should close very soon.
5. The other product demo’s work as well but I am not as familiar with the technology and the slide presentation was a little weak in terms of what target market these are focused on and the potential revenue each could add to the bottom line. I think with time they with improve on this portion of their presentation.
6. The Drago lawsuit has NO MERIT, if he gets anything it won’t be much more than a dime!
Also, I visited their offices the next day and met with Mr. Turrini for at least and hour. He is a very capable businessman and with his law background I now understand why he was appointed President and CEO of the company. He is very trustworthy and has a passion to see Calypso succeed. He wants all SH to reap huge benefits (and himself of course). While I was there I saw the finance team working diligently on the finances and spoke to one employee concerning them. They do have a sense of urgency in getting them completed ASAP.
In closing I just want to say that IMHO the time is right for this company to explode on the FMC scene with their IP. Everybody who wants to play is talking to them. I feel confident that a deal with a major player will be announced very soon.
