Micro Bio-Medical Waste Systems, Inc. Launches Joint Venture Negotiations with NanoSignal Corp.
Sunday December 21, 11:39 pm ET

WOODLAND HILLS, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 21, 2003--Micro Bio-Medical Waste Systems, Inc. (formerly 20/20 Networks, Inc.) (OTC.BB:TWNK - News) announced today that its newly acquired subsidiary Sanitec Services of Hawaii, Inc. has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding with NanoSignal Corp. (OTC.BB:MSGL - News) to joint venture the development of diagnostic software and hardware to provide verification of its medical waste remediation technology. Currently, Sanitec has signed contracts with a number of Hawaii-based companies including Diagnostic Laboratory Services, State of Hawaii Judiciary, United States Navy and Marine Corps, Base Medical Centers, University of Hawaii's LEH Project, as well as many private doctors and dentists' offices and clinics.
Scott Irvin President and CEO stated, "We currently have superior medical waste remediation technology. We agreed upon the terms of an MOU to establish real time and transparent verification that our technology did the job. We believe that NanoSignal can help us develop a DNA scanning mechanism using Storage Class Dicom technology that will result in a film image for archival retention. Since the remediated bio-waste product is typically interned in land fill, we want the added insurance of having a contemporaneous record that the product was 100% remediated before any possible contamination from landfill seepage, third part pollution and/or natural degradation. Given our goal of building 10 bio-medical waste remediation plants we will need to have working diagnostic units available by the Spring 2004. We will test our diagnostic units with a view towards compliance in the United States, Europe and Asia. Once developed our diagnostic units will set a new and verifiable zero tolerance standard for the remediation of bio-waste with no DNA material present. All intellectual property and patents rights will be jointly held by the joint venture partners."
