Yes. This is what i was getting at put in political correctness. :) Outstanding talents usually do so when their work does not materialize in a way they believe it should in the company they work for - because they can.

My point was that there's another reason why people may leave (or get reassigned), besides not being satisfied about the application of their work. That's when the project gets to a point where others can take over the tedious job of implementation, optimization and verification, so they can start thinking about next-generation stuff again.

Given that Tukwila was originally scheduled to appear this year, it would be bad sign if the whole CSI team was still scrambled to get the interconnect working. Ideally there's just a skeleton crew left overseeing the productizing in Tukwila and Nehalem, while the rest is looking further into the future.
