It may have a recent date, but that’s an old article. It was written last July, when the exchange rate was about 1450... Prior to the increase we’ve already witnessed.
Iraq raised it’s interest rates to 12% last July and have increased them a couple times since. They have been at 20% since about Jan on this year.
