and generally does a good Job, but he has become too consumed by iHUB and now lacks the ability to step back and be detached and objective about it...
It's a common and natural mistake, that is difficult to rectify while he continues to be immersed in the Website...
He should try to find somebody - NOT you, please - to take over administrative duties for a few weeks, take a break for a week, or so and then come back and watch from the outside for a while...
He'll find that the "excesses", that bothered him are temporary and eventually cancel themselves out; that you can't please every poster; that the Threads are basically self- sutaining and the last thing they need is an Admin trying to play God...
He should also realize that the Moderators work for iHUB without pay and should be respected and encouraged at every opportunity...
The often read words to this effect: "if the Moderator doesn't do this or that, I'll drop him/her and find another one more suitable"... "I have worked too hard to let a pumping/bashing Moderator screw "my" Flagship Thread"... etc... SHOULD have NO place on this Website...
This Message Board is as good as its Moderators and Posters and when too many get pissed off and lose interest, then you know the rest...
