cbs13, you miss the boat big time re: Xscale. I was the lone voice drumbeating it in the last 5 mos. I felt compelled to throw you a bone. HSDPA baseband + app processor single chip is in BB9K the hottest product on the planet to be shipped in Q4 for this year Xmas. It's left as HW for you to figure out what these acronyms mean. Otherwise, it's too easy for you. The BB9K wil rival the iPhone in volume. There are a lot of design win momentum for Xscale that make you weep and beg me to cough up some more.

A lot of chip suppliers would kill to get BB9K, much like the iPhone.

Chip vendors are under NDA not to talk about the iPhone's content. I hope you understand that. People can only post what is public info.

2H07 gonna be great for MRVL due to seasonal rebound of HDD.
Xscale will contribute significantly to rev 2H07 and way beyond. I envision Xscale, Xscale+3G baseband alone will contribute 30% of total rev in 08. How significant is that ?
It smooths out HDD seasonality. Don't forget about ITM, 11n, GiGE, 10GiGE, video, Wifi+APP PROCESSOR+read channel SoC (DAVE) for Seagate,...

This stock will be in the high 20's in 2H07 easily. We have seen the low this year already. I expect MRVL to be in the high 18's next week during NW&InterOp, Vegas.
