I wanted to stay off this board, but couldn't help but responding to your comments. Maybe I will learn something from you.

If I did that, it would be free reign for manipulation, would it not? I am also extremely relaxed in regard to meddling with the threads. I only step in when get out of hand, as they did many times, with the SEVU board.

Let's do a test. Look at the RB board and the IH board. Show me the number of posts, in the last 60, on each thread, that were actually relevant to SEVU. Not sexual discussions, who is fat bald and ugly, or which employee was hanging out in the bar last month.

On topic, relevant content is how I gauge the site. Not the noise level. So if that means 5 posts of information a day vs 200 posts of sheer garbage, than I would swing to the 5 posts a day. Most people don't have all day to sift through that much trash. Quality will always win over quantity. Why do you think RB is changing their business model?

It all comes down to valuing your time....and your brokerage account.
