It is always good to be skeptical, especially about things posted on BS bulletin boards. I have emailed the company twice over roughly the same time frame, and they have responded both times. My only advice is to keep it short and sweet (that's how they like to respond as well), and refrain from asking questions which, by law, they cannot answer.
