Tate Michael Truett's - Acting CFO - option. Why stock may run up after E.R.

Except for RSU ($0 strike price), all his options granted in '05 and after are under water. The most significant batch he can exercise on 9/11/07 is $15K shrs at $19.79. He has a good incentive to boost the stock over this price.

Note that he had no options granted in '07 due to option investigation.

The timing of this Form 3 (5/16/07 on the eve of E.R.) is interesting. MRVL must have anticipated that the stock would do
well immediatly after CC. Therefore, the co. urged Truett to file this form to show that his options were not awarded before the stock run-up at all (timing the grant date that got the co. into trouble in the first place).
