i think that i don't have a protagonist to tie it together. Jake retired and now shoots ground squirrels every day, and he was the closest to a hero that i have in my vignettes. And the dude that flew for Air America in the 60's had his leg cut off, so unless he makes a run for getting on Dancing With the Stars, he wouldn't work, either. Part of the thing of the stories is, i cannot even recall what i have written a few days after i write it, as i have a philosophy that if you tell the truth, you never have to remember what you said. But pulling up old posts would be a hoot, might even be interesting to someone with a twisted sense of humor. I have a couple years till i retire, then i will probably slap it all together, on the faint hope that some fair young lass may read the book and want to come jump into the hot springs with me...LOL

if you could pitch my dispatches to someone i would be into it... LOL
