Cheezy,
You may be right...I don't own the product, so I can't truly say. But let's go on that point. Let's say that SQUM decides "We've got the biolock and other more advanced products coming out...we can discontinue this product, sell what we have left (and what CKYS reneged on), and focus on the products that Home Depot, Black and Decker, etc are going to be pushing.
Based on Knowles's interpretation of the financials, and based on the market for the biolocks, it sounds like not only would they not be hurt if they did discontinue the product, they'd still thrive.
You have to ask yourself the question though...Why would these guys who were praising this product up and down (and the posts are there to back that up) all of a sudden be attacking the same product?
I'm not going to completely discount that the product has some flaws...but I just don't think that a robber is looking for this particular product when he's busy trying to get in, get out, and haul stuff out in a short time.
Like analystslie said, it's use is to prevent young kids in the house from getting into the product. I get the feeling that if a 7 year old is spending time trying to pry that thing open (remember the difference in size between the 7 year old and the adult that hid his face while performing the video), mommy or daddy is gonna find out.
IMO/FWIW
