mothers' day>>> i am grateful to be here to tell you all this story.

about an hour ago james and i went down to the nolichucky river and got some button fern to go in the rocks by the koi pond. everything was perfect....BEAUTIFUL day, river was awesome.....then seemingly out of nowhere a drunk driver almost ran me down when i was on the side of the road looking at the fern. he had his beer turned up guzzling it and was heading right for me...i had no where to go. i screamed and he lowered his drink just in time to see me....grrrrrrrr

for god sake, people....DON'T DRIVE DRUNK!!!!!!!! I CAME WITHIN 3 FEET OF DEATH on this gorgeous mothers day.
