Hard to Treat Diseases Incorporated - HTDS - Announces Negotiations with Marketing Firms Regarding Recycling Alliances and Opportunities in China

DELRAY BEACH, Fla., Dec 15, 2003 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Hard to Treat Diseases Incorporated (Pink Sheets:HTDS) - International Foam Solutions, a division of HTDS, announced today that it is currently negotiating with numerous groups regarding marketing the expertise of its waste treatment technology to the Chinese markets. China is the second largest consumer and the largest importer of polystyrene products in the world. The estimated demand for polystyrene in China will reach 3.3 million tons by the year 2005, almost 24% of the estimated global demand of 14 million tons.
Consultants for HTDS traveled to China in order to explore the market potential of our Company's technology and present IFS's system to various governmental agencies, public institutions and private industries in China, including the Shanghai Technology Stock Exchange. The consultants had a tour of the largest polystyrene recycler in China; Hui Long Industrial Development, Ltd. Based on the current systems used in China, the potential for IFS is enormous due to China's urgent needs.

HTDS is seeking to be the largest environmental exporter to China within the next 24 months. We will announce the signing of the agreement with a marketing group, once formalized, and when our Chinese marketing plan has been initiated by the Chinese firm.
