...a respite for the Giro...

you'd think-- but the knock against professional cycling is that it's not very professional.

My biggest concerns are the possible leaks and rumors that could easily start around anyone showing dominance in the race.

yet, the show must go on.

...and fwiw, I did subscribe to the versus channel on cycling.tv-- it'll be the first Giro for me. I suspect I'll like the Giro better than the TdF just by the profile of the race, its a climbers delight.
