May be part of it but for me........I stopped watching after the defense said for the third time they "couldn't imagine" the things the kid was accused of were true. That's mandatory rhetoric for the mother and the lawyer of any defendant and not exactly headline grabbers. The public in general has little interest in what lawyers can or can't imagine. They want easy to understand proof that grave injustice is carried out or they'll move on to something else....(imo).
