good morning all. littlebro, whether at oil wells or offshore oil wells, natural gas is a side prob or an annoyance ~ both. it is (viewed by that co) as an unwanted byproduct in the process of petroleum extraction. because of the cost associated to get the gas to the mkt and of being a valuable energy source to be transported and sold, natural gas is simply vented to the atmosphere or flared off.
