I fine it so hard to believe that you guys invest in stock and do not know how a MM Trades. Yesterday a block of stock traded at .0075 1.4 Million shares. That was an open SELL order at .0075. Yes the MM bought it, however he was taking stock in by filling his short from previous trades done that day at a higher price, or days before at a higher price. Please read this post and understand. Block trades are done on the Exchanges every day the same way. If the seller did not let the MM work the order as an open order with a limit Sell price of .0075 the stock would go down to .005 or less. That seller
new exactly what he was doing by placeing a limit on the order
and the MM work the order as an open order. This limited the damage on the down side. After the order was complete the MM
price went up.
