Peace of Mind
"Therefore, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ." -Romans 5;1 RSV
Woven throughout this beautiful, peace-generating, love-spreading, power-producing faith we call Christianity is the theme that we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. St. Paul wrote and told the Romans, "So now, since we have been made right in God's sight by faith in His promises, we can have real peace with Him because of what Jesus Christ our Lord has done for us." Jesus said, "The important thing is that your names are registered as citizens of heaven."
There is an eternal consciousness hovering over us. It is an awareness that after this life is over something else is going to happen. And until we can make peace with eternity, we're just not sure what will happen.
But when we do make peace with eternity, we have peace! Have you made peace with eternity? I know of only one person who can help you do that-Jesus Christ. Only He can forgive your sins. Only He can turn your life around and give you peace. Commit your life to Him today, if you haven't already done so. Then write your commitment below:
