OT---Chaos....1.Go to your email program
2.Click on 'OPTONS'
3.Click on 'Message Headers'
4.Click on 'Show All'

Now, although I have Charter, I use Yahoo for my mail...so my instructions are now for Yahoo....it is the same general instruction, however, for MSN, which I also use...but the wording is different. I cannot speak for AOL,or Earthlink..but my guess is that one could effectively get the same results following this general path.

OK, on your mail options 'plate', you are offered the opportunity to change how you wish to recieve an pperuse the mail you send and receive.

The message header can be simple, which most people use, or it can be expanded, to show more than you ever thought you would want to know about where an email originated, where it went if there was a 'stopover' along the way to your computer, and the computer number that it came from. The computer number is usually shown first...and that number identifies the only computer, supposedly, on the planet, that could have sent the email.

So, if you expand your header, and you have the address of the very computer that originated the message, the next step is the message. IF the message is one like GLL got, you contact the police and the ISP provider. You give the ISP provider that computer number , and they can track it REALLLLL FAST....

If you are looking for someone. as I was, to serve a warrant for arrest, or for any other LEGAL reason...you have to get a court order first, then you contact the ISP provider, then you contact the police and give them the papers.

YOU, as an individual person, will not know who the person is, or where the computer is, without the help of the ISP provider, and they will not diclose unless there is 'cause'....the only exception, of course, is if it is the Bush people playing the homeland security clause--they don;t need a warrant...hahahahahaha...they can just go into your computer and snoop.....
