Yes, that's HDSN on the ask at .03, but here's the extra bit of complication.

HDSN could be selling for someone associated with the company, but people using a trading platform like Grossman, can also route their sales through a particular market maker. I can choose, for example, through prodigy, to have my sell go through NITE, and suddenly, you may see NITE lower his ask to .027, and that would be me.

NITE is also selling for other clients, but now he's selling for me as well. Those other clients may have limit orders in at .03, and the minute he's done with my order, he'll move back up.

Also, the company may be long done selling shares, but the financers they used months ago, still have some shares to sell, so they may show up as well, esp. if the stock recently started getting volume after a long period of little liquidity.

Sometimes we're guessing as to whether the dilution is active or not, and we don't want to avoid a decent play, simply because one bad guy is in the lineup. I've seen stocks slice right through RBCM and VFIN with volume.

But if there are several, and they regularly drop their ask into a run, as HDSN did the other day with VIPM, then it's generally not good news. RBCM is also tricky. He was on the lineup on SMAS, at first just hanging out, not actively selling, and suddenly he changed positions. HDSN did the same thing on VIPM twice as i was watching. I wonder if they read the message boards. I definitely know they're aware that traders don't like to see them, which is why CLYP changed his name to RBCM to begin with...lol!

The best test is to see how the stock performs, at the end of the day, with good volume. If it sustains decent gains of 50-100% on relatively light volume, then I get in.

On the other hand, if 500MM in volume can barely make it budge, or worse, the stock trades 100MM on good news, and still winds up in the red, I'm not getting anywhere near it.

Please, I'm not an expert, and any observations I type here, are simply my conclusions from watching these things daily. There are others who may know far more on this subject, and I encourage them to post.
